KAHAKA INTERNATIONAL

The Social Impact of Business on the Community

The existence of MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) is expected to be able to provide a fairly good contribution to the level of welfare of the community, especially in efforts to overcome problems that are often faced such as high levels of poverty, unemployment, unequal distribution of income and everything that hinders the rate of economic growth.

The role of MSMEs in Indonesia which is associated with the government should be able to reduce the unemployment rate that is increasing from each year, tackling poverty by helping poor people and income distribution that can improve the lives of people especially those who have financial limitations.

New Employment Creation

Since it was first operated, KAHAKA International that is located on Tanjung Sari street has helped provide new jobs for the community.

This can be proven since the beginning of the construction of business facilities; we have accommodated the skills of people around our business area to work on building facilities and other company operational work. Currently KAHAKA International  has 2 full-time employees from Dumai and several casual employees who come from the surrounding area.

Women's Empowerment

To get export quality dried bromm sticks, accuracy and patience are needed to provide the best quality for buyers. Therefore KAHAKA International empowers women who are identical in their accuracy and patience, especially for the work of sorting and processing betel nuts.

Thus the family welfare can be improved by the additional income they earn from this job.
